The catch: most rental houses I've dealt with don't stock it. MIP isn't a shelf item at a local AV shop, and a generalist claiming "same thing, cheaper" probably hasn't managed a fine-pitch build.

  3. Does the project need MIP, transparent, curved, or under-2mm technology? → Scenario 3. The calendar matters less than the capability. If a generalist says "same thing, cheaper," they're out of their depth.
